ane Bade Stavola, is an interior designer, teacher, and writer. As owner of Jane Bade Interiors for 27 years, she has designed spaces for model homes, restaurants, churches, retirement homes, professional offices, retail shops, and residences of many styles. She is a California Certified Interior Designer and an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

ane acquired a love of vintage furnishings while owning a Hollywood set designer's 1930's "Castle," and now buys and sells antiques through antiques malls -- in Old Pasadena and Cayucos, where she (and husband Charlie) restored the Saltbox and furnished it like a New England B & B.

he has taught classes about interior design, remodeling, and antiques to consumers at Glendale Community College for the past fifteen years.

ane has published children's books, written many newsletters, product catalogues, and articles for newspapers and national magazines. Recently she developed scripts for both technical and documentary videos, including narration for Vanessa Redgrave's "Return Festival in Kosovo."
